These new vessels are the 21st and 22nd additions to COSCO SHIPPING Specialised Carrier’s series of 62,000-DWT multi-purpose pulp carriers. The ships each measure 201.8 meters in length, 32.26 meters in width, and 19.3 meters in depth, with a range of 22,000 nautical miles. Their cargo holds can accommodate approximately 72,000 cubic meters of material.
Equipped with advanced deck machinery, the vessels feature two sets of 100-tonne single cranes and one set of 100-tonne x two combination cranes, enabling them to lift a maximum weight of 195 tonnes. This upgrade enhances their loading and unloading efficiency compared to previous models.
The ships are outfitted with main and auxiliary engines that include selective catalytic reduction (SCR) systems, ensuring compliance with NOx TIER III emission standards. They have also been certified as smart and environmentally friendly vessels, highlighting their practicality, cost-effectiveness, and reliability.
