Euroseas, a leading owner and operator of container carrier vessels, has secured new time charter contracts for its 2001-built feeder containerships, EM Corfu and Evridiki G. These contracts will begin immediately after their current charters end in February 2025.

EM Corfu has been fixed for 18-20 months at a gross daily rate of $28,000 per day, while Evridiki G has been fixed for 14-16 months at a gross daily rate of $29,500 per day.

Aristides Pittas, Chairman and CEO of Euroseas, highlighted the profitability and strategic significance of these charters, which align with the vessels' fifth special survey as they reach 25 years of service. He noted the strong demand for feeder vessels and projected an EBITDA contribution of approximately $20 million, increasing Euroseas' charter coverage into 2026.
