On October 2nd, GasLog took delivery of the LNG carrier Marvel Phoenix at the Hanwha Ocean Shipyard in Geoje, South Korea.

The vessel was officially named during a ceremony on September 30th, where Ms. Zhou Ling, Head of the Shipping Department at CMB Financial Leasing, served as the vessel's sponsor.

The Marvel Phoenix, identified by hull number H2533, has a cargo capacity of 174,000 m³ and is powered by two HP-2S MEGI engines. It is classed with Ice Class notation (1C) and features two shaft generators and a Full Reliquefaction System (FRS) for enhanced operational efficiency. This latest addition follows the delivery of her sister ship, the GasLog Italy.

GasLog thanked all contributors, including the vessel's captain, crew, and the shipyard team, for completing the project.

GasLog stated, “Congratulations to all those who contributed to this remarkable accomplishment! A heartfelt thank you to Master Cpt. Ioannis, the officers and crew of Marvel Phoenix, the GasLog Site team, colleagues from the Head Office, and the Hanwha Ocean personnel for their dedication and hard work that led to this successful delivery!” in the LinkedIn post that was shared.
