The water levels have decreased due to dry weather, allowing vessels to clear bridges and sail without obstruction. German navigation authorities had closed sections of the river around Maxau, according to a report by Reuters. Meanwhile, the northern part of the river, including Duisburg, Cologne, and Düsseldorf, has been operating normally.
