China Coast Guard Expels Japanese Vessel from Diaoyu Water

On Thursday, the China Coast Guard (CCG) expelled a Japanese fishing vessel that had unlawfully entered the territorial waters of the Diaoyu Islands.

According to CCG spokesperson Liu Dejun, the Japanese vessel entered the waters of the islands, prompting the CCG to take legal enforcement actions. The CCG issued warnings and successfully drove the vessel out of the area.

"Diaoyu Islands and its affiliated islands are China's inherent territory," Liu stated, urging Japan to halt any illegal activities in these waters.
