Italian Superyacht Sinks Off Greek Island After Renovation

The 150-foot megayacht, named 'Ethos', which commands a rental fee of £180,000 per week, was observed taking on water off the coast of Kefalonia in Paleokaravo Bay earlier this week.

Reports indicate that the inflow occurred after a crew member accidentally left a door open and was unable to close it once the weather worsened.

The Maltese-flagged yacht, renowned for offering a 'relaxed' charter experience, accommodates up to 12 guests and features five cabins, an onboard gym, a deck jacuzzi, and jet skis. It was recently purchased for approximately £16 million and had just undergone a comprehensive interior renovation.

According to local media, all five tourists and five crew members aboard safely disembarked after the yacht was towed to shore.
