Baku-based United Alliance Group is bringing together maritime professionals from Turkey and neighboring Caspian countries for the Baku 2024 Shipping Dinner, aimed at fostering collaboration in the maritime industry and sharing knowledge and experiences related to maritime regulations.
The event, which starts today and will last for two days, primarily aims to gather shipowners, maritime human resources, brokers, transportation and logistics companies, shipping firms, and representatives of transportation structures operating in the Caspian and Black Sea regions. Attendees include representatives from the International Maritime Organization (IMO), the World Maritime University, employees from leading Turkish maritime companies, and guests from countries bordering the Caspian and Black Seas.
The event will feature discussions on topics relevant to the maritime sector, including a conference titled "Human Resources and Crew Management in the Maritime Transport Sector." The goal of the event is to facilitate the exchange of knowledge and experience in crew management and human resources in maritime safety, introduce participants to foreign maritime companies, support employment opportunities in international waters, and encourage the creation of new jobs.
