The USS Harry S. Truman Carrier Strike Group has reached the US Central Command’s Middle East area of responsibility. In an announcement on X, CENTCOM stated that the strike group, which includes the aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75) and its supporting destroyers and cruisers, aims to ensure regional stability and security.

The arrival was confirmed when the carrier crossed the Suez Canal into the Red Sea.

This deployment comes amid rising tensions in the region, following Syrian President Bashar al-Assad’s ouster and ongoing operations by the YAF in Gaza and as retaliation to American-British aggression on Yemen.
