Developed by AIRCAT, these vessels are designed to meet the operational demands of the offshore oil and gas industry. The decision highlights the continued trust Centus Marine places in Strategic Marine’s experience in delivering high-performance vessels.

Strategic Marine is recognized for its innovations, including the introduction of gyro stabilization and hybrid systems on Fast Crew Boats. The company is also in the process of delivering three Surface Effect Ships (SES) for operations in Africa, which focus on enhancing efficiency, stability, and speed.

The new vessel, based on the AIRCAT 35 Crewliner platform, is expected to achieve speeds of over 50 knots, providing safe and reliable crew transfers to offshore platforms.

It will be equipped with a lift system that reduces water resistance, allowing for higher speeds, and a dynamic air cushion system that adjusts to sea conditions, improving passenger safety and comfort.

With its high speed and large passenger capacity, the vessel is designed to offer an efficient and cost-effective solution for offshore personnel transfers.

Strategic Marine CEO Chan Eng Yew emphasized the company’s commitment to innovation, while Centus Marine’s Derick Soo highlighted the vessel’s potential to improve both operational efficiency and environmental sustainability.
