Investigations revealed that the signal originated from the Panamanian-flagged vessel KNIDOS.

Following discussions with the company representative, it was confirmed that the St. Vincent and the Grenadines-flagged ship NADEEN had collided with the KNIDOS on its starboard quarter, causing the engine room to flood and the vessel to list.

The crew of the KNIDOS, which includes 2 Turkish and 3 Azerbaijani nationals among a total of 13 people, successfully abandoned the ship using a lifeboat and were rescued from the water by the other vessel.
