Bosphorus Shipbrokers Dinner Held with Record Participation

Durmuş Ünüvar, Deputy Turkish Minister of Transportation; Mustafa Bankaoğlu, Director General of Turkish Coastal Safety; Tamer Kıran, President of the Turkish Chamber of Shipping; Başaran Bayrak, President of the Turkish Chamber of Shipping Assembly; board members of the Turkish Chamber of Shipping; Cihan Ergenç, President of the Turkish Shipowners' Association; Recep Düzgit, President of the Turkish Association of Steamship Owners and Agents; and Professor Hercules Haralambides, a renowned expert in Maritime Economics and Logistics, all participated in the event.

Notable attendees included representatives from BIMCO, FONASBA, FOSFA, ICS, the Hellenic Shipbrokers' Association (HSA), and the Hamburg and Bremen Shipbrokers' Association (VHBS). The event also celebrated the inauguration of ICS Türkiye, with senior management from ICS participating in the opening on June 27. Professor Hercules Haralambides, a revered figure in the international maritime industry, graced the event as the honorary guest.

The Bosphorus Shipbrokers' Dinner 2024 received substantial support from IMEAK DTO (Chamber of Shipping Commerce) as the honorary sponsor, alongside numerous other sponsors dedicated to the event's success. In his opening speech, Ismail Sahin, President of Turkish Ship Brokers Association expressed heartfelt gratitude and a warm welcome to the attendees:
