A Florida-based cruise company, Villa Vie Residences, is offering a unique chance for disillusioned US voters to escape political stress with a four-year global cruise. This package matches the duration of a presidential term and starts at $160,000 per person, covering visits to over 425 ports in 140 countries.

Named "Tour La Vie," the package comes with four options, appealing to Democrat supporters:

  • One-Year Escape from Reality
  • Two-Year Mid-Term Selection
  • Three-Year Everywhere but Home
  • Four-Year Skip Forward

“If you’re looking for an escape... there is no better place than on a ship, right, where you can wake up every day to a new backyard and get everything you need taken care of,” said Mikael Petterson, founder and CEO of Villa Vie Residences.

The marketing campaign began before the election, intended for release regardless of the result. Petterson clarified that the campaign isn’t politically driven: “It just happened that Trump won and there are more Democrats unhappy living in the US now than Republicans.”

The Villa Vie Odyssey, which can host up to 600 residents, is already in operation, with boarding available at various ports. The ship previously faced a four-month delay in Belfast due to repair needs.
