Neste has signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) with Ahti Pool to integrate its EU-exposed fleet into Ahti’s FuelEU Maritime compliance pool. This collaboration increases Ahti Pool’s managed vessels to nearly 250, making it a leading solution for adhering to the FuelEU Maritime regulation.
Ahti Pool’s neutral compliance system allows shipowners to share compliance responsibilities efficiently, leveraging economies of scale. With regulations pushing for a 14% share of renewable fuels in transport by 2030, Neste’s fleet, including dual-fuel LNG and methanol vessels, plays a vital role in advancing sustainable maritime transport.
