Solstad Offshore Secures New Contract for Normand Maximus

Solstad Offshore has landed a contract for its largest subsea construction vessel, Normand Maximus, keeping it fully booked until December 2026. Details about the mystery client remain undisclosed.

Norwegian shipping company Solstad Offshore has secured a contract for its flagship subsea construction vessel (CSV), Normand Maximus, ensuring its full utilization until the end of 2026.

The 178-meter-long CSV, equipped with a 900t AHC crane and 550t VLS, is the largest vessel in Solstad's fleet. The contract, awarded by an undisclosed client, will run for one year, extending the vessel's commitments until December 2026.

No additional details about the client or project have been revealed.

In related news, Solstad Offshore recently announced contracts totaling $53 million for three other vessels, including the AHTS vessels Normand Topazio and Normand Turmalina, as well as the CSV Normand Cutter, for operations in Brazil.
