Subsea7 and OneSubsea, partners in the Subsea Integration Alliance, have signed a global framework agreement with UK energy giant BP. This deal aims to streamline subsea expertise across multiple future projects, ensuring seamless collaboration throughout the field lifecycle.
The agreement builds on a memorandum of understanding signed in September 2023, focusing on new working models and innovative commercial strategies to boost project performance.
“BP and OneSubsea are strong, established partners who have been delivering projects together since the early days of the industry. The new agreement marks the beginning of a new journey together,” said Mads Hjelmeland, CEO of OneSubsea.
Subsea7 CEO John Evans emphasized the importance of early involvement: “By engaging early in field development planning and by deploying our project management expertise and world-class fleet of vessels, we are able to support a truly holistic end-to-end approach to planning and sustainable delivery.”
