Port of Long Beach Wins Best West Coast Seaport for Sixth Year

For the sixth consecutive year, the Port of Long Beach has been honored as the Best West Coast Seaport in North America by the readers of the shipping trade publication, Asia Cargo News.

The accolade was announced during the Asian Freight, Logistics, and Supply Chain Awards, which took place on June 25 in Shanghai. Asia Cargo News recognizes members of the logistics industry for their leadership, consistent service quality, innovation, customer relationship management, and reliability. These awards are judged by importers, exporters, and logistics and supply chain professionals.

Over 15,000 readers of Asia Cargo News submitted nominations for each category, and winners were selected from a list of eight finalists per category. The full list of winners can be found here.

"We are grateful to be honored once again with this award," said Mario Cordero, CEO of the Port of Long Beach. "We appreciate the recognition as we continue to strive for operational excellence and invest in port infrastructure projects like our Pier B rail facility and numerous ongoing zero-emissions initiatives."

Long Beach Harbor Commission President Bobby Olvera Jr. added, "We owe this award to our dedicated dockworkers, terminal operators, and all our supply chain partners. Thank you to Asia Cargo News and its readers for this recognition."
