Yemeni Pirate becomes viral as “Tim-Houthi Chalamet”

A Yemeni pirate known as "Tim-Houthi Chalamet" has gained fame among social media followers following for his good looks showcased in videos filmed aboard hijacked ships.

Rashid Al Haddad, the 19-year-old self-proclaimed 'hot Houthi' influencer, gained notoriety on the dark side of TikTok by live-streaming his tours on commercial vessels attacked by his Iran-backed Houthi rebel associates in the Red Sea.

Al Haddad, often seen holding an AK-47, became a viral sensation with his brown curly locks, prompting fans to draw comparisons to Hollywood actor Timothée Chalamet.

However, the glamour ends there as Al Haddad films himself aboard illegally seized container ships, delivering ominous warnings to the US and UK, stating that they will "face their end" if they continue striking his terror "brothers."

Despite not directly participating in the attacks, the young militant claims to be "ready for sacrifice and eager for martyrdom." He strongly condemns recent UK and US strikes on Yemen, asserting, "They are my brothers and they are my relatives. We are not afraid of anything, but their war will not affect Yemen, but rather it will be their end if they play with us."

Dismissing comparisons to the Wonka star, Al Haddad emphasized, "Hollywood actor Timothée Chalamet is one thing and another. I do not think about what they say about me on social media sites." Instead, he urges his tens of thousands of followers to shift their focus from his looks to the war in Gaza.
